Getting Here

The Secret Is A Short Ride Away

Mukul is closer than you think. International flights to Nicaragua land at Augusto C. Sandino International Airport (MGA) in Managua, the nation’s capital, and are short two- to three-hour jaunts from major transportation hubs like Miami, Houston, Ft. Lauderdale and Atlanta. Easy flights are also available from Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Seattle, Chicago, Toronto, New Orleans, Washington, D.C. and Dallas.

After landing, Mukul is only a 20-minute flight from the Managua International Airport. Flights land at our Costa Esmeralda Airport and guests are met and then driven 15 minutes to Mukul. Alternatetively, the resort is a scenic 120-minute car ride away from the airport. Our staff will arrange for your personal resort butler to greet you at the airplane, to assist with luggage and customs paperwork, and either assit with catching your domestic flight or driving you to Mukul via luxury coach (and back to Augusto C. Sandino International Airport at the conclusion of your stay).

Many of our guests also choose to fly into one of Costa Rica's two international airports: San Jose (SJO) and Liberia (LIR). Once in San Jose, guests will need to fly to Liberia before taking a 30-minute flight on Sansa Airlines which brings you to our Costa Esmeralda Airport in Nicaragua.  Guests are then picked up and driven to the resort by private car. Costa Rica enjoys flights from Atlanta, Los Angeles, Houston, Miami, New York, and Calgary, amongst others, on multiple airlines.
